An agreement has been signed between Northern Electricity Supply Company Limited (NESCO) and Reverie Power and Automation Engineering Limited for the purpose of uninterrupted power supply in North Bengal. This agreement has been made mainly to increase the capacity and efficiency of the power distribution system in Rajshahi and Rangpur regions, through which it will be possible to ensure uninterrupted and quality power supply to the customers.
Objective of the agreement: To ensure uninterrupted and quality power supply at the customer level.
Associated organizations: NESCO (Northern Electricity Supply Company Limited) and Reverie Power and Automation Engineering Limited.
Regional coverage: Rajshahi and Rangpur zones.
Date and place of agreement signing: The agreement was signed at a restaurant on November 8, 2022.
Importance: This step will be helpful in industrialization of North Bengal and improving power supply to the general consumers, as uninterrupted availability of power and energy is an important condition for industrialization.
